Beaded seat cover installation
The beads do the work here, so the only thing that matters is tension. A loose bead panel slides down behind your back within an hour of driving.
Step by step
6 steps- 1Slide the seat back and clear the headrest area.
- 2Hang the panel over the seat back with the top row above your shoulders.
- 3Hook the top clamps behind the seat and pull them down onto the frame.
- 4Run the straps behind the seat and clip the discs together.
- 5Lay the base section flat and push the edge into the seam.
- 6Sit in it once and re-tension. The beads should not slide when you shift.
Where people go wrongDo not start at the baseHang the panel from the top first. Working upward from the cushion leaves the bead rows crooked and you will redo it.Re-tension after you sitYour weight settles the panel. Sit in it once, then pull the straps again.It is not a cushionThe beads ventilate; they do not pad. If you want padding and lumbar support, that is the seat cushion.
