RV Captain Chair Seat Covers — 2 Pack

A matched pair of tan wooden-bead covers for the captain chairs up front in a motorhome — driver and passenger, same colour, so the cab doesn't look mismatched. Sold as a 2-pack because captain chairs come in pairs.

Why beads in an RV?

Motorhome front seats are large, heavily padded and usually vinyl or a dense synthetic — the exact combination that traps heat. On a long travel day in summer that seat holds warmth against your back for hours.

The beads lift you a few millimetres clear of that surface so cabin air can reach it. It's ventilation, not air conditioning — no bead cover is going to cool a coach. What it does is stop the seat from becoming the warmest thing you're touching.

Will they fit my captain chairs?

They're a universal drape fit for a captain chair with an exposed headrest and a reachable lower frame, which covers most Class A, Class B and Class C front seating. The cover hangs from the headrest post and cinches under the base rather than being patterned to one chair.

Worth checking on yours before ordering:

• Headrest — if it's integrated and won't lift, there's nothing for the top loop to hang from
• Armrests — fold-down armrests on captain chairs can sit over the cover's side edge; check yours clear it
• Seat belt and airbag — keep the belt path and any side airbag seam clear, always
• Swivel bases — the lower strap must not foul the swivel mechanism when the chair turns

Fitting them

A minute a seat, no tools. Loop over the headrest, pull flat down the backrest, strap behind the base and cinch snug. Loose covers slide, and a sliding cover on a swivel chair is worse than none.

Cleaning

Damp cloth on the beads, vacuum the mesh. Not machine washable — the beads are strung and a drum will break the strings.

Tan is the only colour in the RV pair. If you want black, dark grey, coffee, blue or wine red, the Class 8 truck version fits many captain chairs too, and the car version suits smaller Class B front seats.
